Facilitation

With a background in community development and outreach & support work, I’m passionate about breaking down barriers to participation in the arts and supporting others to tell their stories.

I’ve designed and delivered creative and critical writing workshops with numerous community groups and organisations, including Impact Arts, the Creative Change Collective, the Mainstay Trust, Romano Lav and Get It Loud in Libraries. I’ve also worked with The Scottish Prison Service, HMP Barlinnie and NHS Scotland, and am currently a Lead Reader with the Creative Writing organisation Open Book.

I’ve facilitated creative writing, play-writing, screen-writing and critical writing sessions with young people, people going through the asylum process, people incarcerated, and people with learning disabilities. I also have experience delivering SQAs in Communications and Creative writing with early school leavers and adults in community educational settings.
